Match Play  
These are qualifying events for those who wish to earn points to make the 12 person California Cup team.  These events are also a good way to learn how to play Match Play.

Chapter Championship
This is a fun and exciting event for all skill levels.  It is an individual stroke play against individuals at your same skill level or handicap and scramble teams.  Winners will advance to the Semi Finals at Sycuan Resort in El Cajon CA, then to the Finals at Rancho Mirage CA.

Cal Cup
The team is the results from the Match Play events.  Eleven California Chapters will compete in team matches at Haggin Oaks in Sacramento CA on May 4 & 5.  Click here for more info

Cactus Cup
The Cactus Cup which started in 2006, has become one of the chapter’s greatest event.  It’s a competition between Team Orange County vs. Team Palm Springs/Desert Cities.

Open Invitational
This is a fun competition open to all skill levels playing in the Ryder Cup format; 6 alternate, 6 best ball and 6 scramble. 

Roger Dunn Series
The Roger Dunn Series is in its 8th year.   It is a 6 game series with a perpetual trophy that the winner keeps for a year.  All are encouraged to play and win some Roger Dunn gift cards.

The Cup 
The CUP is an amateur match play 8 women team competition under the direction of the LPGA Amateurs Golf Association.  There are8 regional sites across the country beginning August 25 through September 28.  Successful teams will advance to the Finals at Reunion Resort in Orlando Florida on November 1 & 2.


This competition starts in September and is a bracketed match play event.  You and your opponent decide where and when to play as long as it is done by the specified deadline.  Remember all match plays can be played at a LPGA AMATEURS event.
